Rizbo
Title: Rizbo

Description: To work through a maze interface, where the player has the ability to make choices throughout varying levels. These choices will allow the player to progress throughout the maze whilst accessing varied objects that appear during the game. To create a game that is stimulating and interesting, whilst using a relatively simple affect of game design. To also include the concept of 'Who Am I?' as a key theme within the overall game play. The overall idea and theme for this game is for the player to steer a course through a maze style of game play, all the while overcoming obstacles that will hinder the course of the game. Throughout play, the individual gamer will have the ability the collect and take pills that enhance capabilities overall. Taking a strength pill will allow the player have extreme force, allowing him to push and pull obstacles that occur throughout the maze interface. Taking a flight pill, will allow the player the ability to flu over any obstacle. A swimming pill will allow the gamer the ability to swim through any water-based obstacle he may come across. All the varied pills may be collected along the way. Whilst having to cope with the obstacles that are placed throughout the maze, the gamer will also have to be able to work through the set maze on each level, which has been arranged.

My role at the start of the project was to produce all the art assets for the game. As development began it was clear that the coding of the game was not the strongest point of the project. The team then decided to re orginise the structure of the project and I put myself forward as the lead coder. With no prior knowledge in flash or the scripting lanugauge actionscript 3, I took it upon myself to learn the basics and then slowly form a working game.
